Uyo Stadium Meets CAF Standards

Nigerian football is set to make a significant impact on the CAF Champions League and CAF Confederation Cup.

The Confederation of African Football has announced that the Goodswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo will host matches in the upcoming round of these prestigious tournaments.

Rangers and Enyimba International are the only Nigerian clubs to have advanced to the second round of the preliminary stage.

Rangers secured their place with a victory over US Zilimadjou, while Enyimba received a bye.The second round of the preliminary stage is scheduled for September.
