Book’s Spot in 400m Hurdles Semis

In a thrilling display of talent and determination, Nigeria’s Ezekiel Nathaniel has secured a place in the semifinals of the men’s 400m hurdles at the Paris Olympics.

The national record holder’s impressive second-place finish in his heat, with a time of 48.32 seconds, marks a significant milestone for Nigerian athletics.

Nathaniel’s qualification breaks a 12-year drought for the country in this event, following in the footsteps of Amaechi Morton.

Unfortunately, Chidi Okezie was unable to progress to the next round, finishing fifth in the repechage.
