Bafana Bafana coach Hugo Broos has confirmed that Thalente Mbatha and Jayden Adams have been withdrawn from the squad to face Congo Brazzaville in a 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier.
Mbatha was withdrawn after scans confirmed a knee injury, while Adams was withdrawn due to discipline.
They will be replaced by Bathusi Aubaas and Sinoxolo Kwayiba. Broos expressed his dissatisfaction with the team’s performance in their last two games, but was pleased with the result against South Sudan.
He is hoping to see a better performance against Congo.
