Ugandan clubs SC Villa and Kitara FC are scrambling to find a home venue for their CAF Champions League and Confederation Cup matches respectively.
Namboole Stadium is unavailable due to ongoing renovations, forcing the clubs to consider St. Mary’s Stadium in Kitende.
Kitara FC is even exploring the option of playing their home match outside Uganda.
SC Villa will face Ethiopia’s CBE, while Kitara FC will play Libya’s Al Hilal Benghazi in the preliminary rounds.
