Ugandan defender Savio Kabugo has bid farewell to Lugazi FC after a single season.
The club, recently promoted to the Premier League, confirmed Kabugo’s departure through their social media channels.
Despite his significant contribution to their promotion campaign, Kabugo’s journey with Lugazi has come to an end.Lugazi FC is not dwelling on the past, though.
They’ve shown their intent to compete in the top tier by securing contract extensions for influential players Wasswa Paul, Derrick Mwanje, Gift Mohamed Lubega, and Richard Ayiko.
Furthermore, the club has unveiled five new signings: Nelson Mandela, Emmanuel Obua, Rogers Adriko, Denis Lubowa, and Yusuf Saaka Sharif.
These reinforcements suggest Lugazi FC is serious about making a mark in the upcoming Premier League season.
