Trevor Maina’s try just four minutes into the game set the tone for KOBs’ performance. Despite Josiah Ssempeke missing the conversion, he successfully converted three penalties, allowing KOBs to hold a commanding 14-03 lead at halftime.
While Mongers rallied in the second half, scoring their only try through Ebber Aturinde, they struggled with conversion opportunities. KOBs, on the other hand, missed two penalty kicks that could have further extended their lead.
