KCCA overcame a sluggish start to produce a stirring second-half performance as they drew 2-2 with Soltilo Bright Stars in a thrilling match at Kavumba.
The hosts took the lead through Noordin Bunjo in the 31st minute before KCCA hit back through Haruna Lukwago just four minutes later.
Bright Stars struck again early in the second half, Ashraf Mulindi scoring after a brilliant solo run, but Muhammad Shaban equalized for KCCA in the 75th minute with a well-placed header.
The draw extends KCCA’s unbeaten run to seven games, but their hopes of winning the league are quickly fading as they stand eight points behind Kitara at sixth place on the table.
