Double Champions Vipers SC are interested in signing defender Geoffrey Wasswa.
This website understands that the Kitende based have tempted Wasswa with a huge sign on fee and are ready to pay him handsomely in case he does rejoin them.
Wasswa was earlier this month released by KCCA FC after failing to reach an agreement over a contract renewal.
Sources however reveal that Wasswa opts for a move to Ethiopia despite a huge offer from his former paymasters Vipers.
When he left Vipers in 2020, Wasswa joined SC Villa where he featured for a short spell before joining KCCA FC at the start of the 2021/22 season.
At Vipers SC, the versatile player won two league titles and a Uganda trophy.
He is also a product of St.Mary’s Kitende and joined Vipers senior team from the Junior team at the start of the 2015/16 season.
