Rogers Mato set to fly out to Slovenia for the paid ranks

 

Uganda Premier league side KCCA FC are expected to cash in on forward Rogers Mato in this transfer window.

This website understands that Mato is set to leave the country for greener pastures and is expected to join a yet to be confirmed Slovenian club.

Last season, Mato won several games for the 13 time Uganda Premier league champions in a campaign many stars at the club didn’t shine consistently.

He also scored the all important goal as Uganda Cranes beat Tanzania during a Group F of the AFCON 2023 qualifying game in Dar E Salaam.

Mato joined the Kasasiro boys at the start of the 2021/22 season from Proline FC.

He penned a four year contract with the Lugogo based side.

Mato is a product of FUFA Juniors League and featured for clubs like Lweza FC Junior Team, Maroons FC Junior Team and Proline FC Junior Team.
